The Brief

What was the goal?

Two things kill conversion in intimate apparel e-commerce: wrong size selection (return rate spike) and privacy anxiety (cart abandonment). Both had to be solved at the UX + content + schema layer.

The Approach

Which methodology pillars I applied

I applied the AEO (FAQPage "how-to-measure" questions) + Schema (Product + Offer + Review) + Distribution (Instagram integration, customer reviews, newsletter) pillars.

Tech Stack

What it's built with

  • Next.js 15
  • TypeScript
  • Schema.org Product/Offer
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Vercel

The Build

Key decisions and tradeoffs

The size guide is interactive — the user enters their measurements and the matching product size is returned. The component is embedded across pages; the in-page size calculation removed the "is the size guide PDF opening?" friction.

Privacy messaging at every checkout step: specific phrasings like "the invoice doesn't say Luna Intim". These trust signals dropped cart abandonment by 22%.

Blog content targets long-tail questions like "how to measure bra size" or "bra fit during pregnancy". Every article is FAQPage-schema-tagged and tuned for featured snippets.

Steps Applied

Methodology in practice

1

Interactive size guide

In-page sizing calculator; no PDF / popup; mobile-first form pattern.

2

Privacy trust messaging

Specific privacy phrasings at checkout steps; cart abandonment down 22%.

3

FAQPage long-tail content

Blog "how to measure" questions tuned with FAQPage schema for featured snippet capture.

Honest Reflection

What I'd Do Differently

On launch we shipped blog content without internal links to product pages. The blog ranked for "how to measure bra size" — but traffic stayed on the blog and didn't convert. The second version added 3 related-product recommendations under each blog post (with Schema.org Product list). Blog-to-product CTR jumped from 4% to 19%. Traffic-generating content is incomplete SEO until it bridges to conversion.
