About ModernWebSEO
A one-founder AI-Ready Web Design & Technical SEO studio.
I'm İsmail Günaydın. I run ModernWebSEO from Istanbul as a Venture Builder / Technical Co-founder — not an agency. I ship Next.js sites with Schema.org, Wikidata entity stacks, and citation-ready content for the era of Google AI Overviews.

Why this exists
Why ModernWebSEO exists
Google AI Overviews killed classic SEO. The 2010s playbook — keyword density, thin content at scale, generic backlink farms — stopped converting in 2024 when Google started rewarding cited entities over indexed pages. The query intent layer moved from "rank ten blue links" to "cite a source."
Most agencies haven't adapted. They still sell keyword retainers. The few that did adapt rebranded as "AI SEO" and added a ChatGPT prompt to their workflow — same deliverable, new packaging.
Solo founders building real products feel this gap most. They don't need a vendor running a 6-month retainer; they need a technical co-founder who ships the schema, the entity stack, the AEO/GEO foundation alongside the product. That's what ModernWebSEO is: a studio for founders who ship.
Who runs this
İsmail Günaydın
Background in chemistry, philosophy, and computer programming. Self-taught web developer since 2020. 15+ years working in SEO, GEO, and AEO. Before SEO, I spent 20 years in retail sales — the kind of customer empathy that doesn't come from a marketing course.
I chose the Venture Builder / Technical Co-founder model over the agency model because agencies optimize for retainer renewal; founders optimize for shipping. When I take on a project, the goal is the project shipping — not me staying on the payroll. Every audit, every ModernWebSEO engagement, ends with the founder owning the system.
The studio is registered as an entity on Wikidata (Q138653257). My personal Wikidata Q-ID is Q138787122. Both link the full sameAs stack: LinkedIn, X, GitHub, Crunchbase, G2, Behance, Dev.to, Medium, ProductHunt, and more. Entity reconciliation is part of what I ship for clients — and what I run for myself.

What I believe
Five principles I apply to every project. They aren't aspirations — they're the filters I run decisions through.
- 1
Execution over prompts
AI is a tool, not a strategy. Anyone can prompt; few can ship. The output that matters is shipped, indexed, cited.
- 2
Systems beat shortcuts
A 47-point repeatable methodology beats a one-off hack. SEO compounding only works when the process is auditable.
- 3
Distribution before product
I plan the content distribution graph (sitemap, schema, entity stack) before the first line of feature code. SEO can't be retrofitted.
- 4
Solo founders who ship beat teams who plan
Half my portfolio is solo-founder builds where the founder shipped weekly. Speed of execution is the SEO moat.
- 5
AI-ready means structured, not stuffed
Schema.org, entity reconciliation, and citation-ready chunking — not keyword density. AI Overviews quote structure, not stuffing.
How we're different
vs. SEO agencies & freelance devs
The honest comparison. If your needs match the left columns, I'm not a fit. If they match the right column, let's talk.
Traditional SEO agencies
- Generic 6-month "SEO retainer" with vague KPIs
- Junior SEO running through a 200-item checklist
- Hourly billing with scope creep
- Reports written for the agency, not the founder
- Recommendations you can't ship without their dev team
Freelance developers
- "I'll add some meta tags" technical SEO
- No Schema.org / Wikidata / entity strategy
- AEO and GEO not on the radar
- Content separated from code; no programmatic SEO
- Disappears after launch
ModernWebSEO
- Fixed $499 audit OR Venture Builder partnership — clear scope from day one
- Founder runs the audit; you talk to me, not a junior
- 47-check methodology you can verify against my own portfolio sites
- Schema, Wikidata, entity, AEO, GEO are the deliverable — not optional
- Recommendations are shippable specs in your stack (Next.js + TypeScript + Tailwind + Supabase + Vercel)
